The paintwork was completed by Moorland Classics. Its beautiful! The shell has gone home now and it will be fully rebuilt by the customer. Final pictures:

Welcome! This topic is about a Classic Mini body shell restoration. 1998 MPI model. "Only" 20 years old,but worst then some 50-60 years old vehicle. The shell came to us in a bad state,someone started the work on it,the front end has been removed,they blasted it here and there,but not primed it..... Here comes the pictures: Plastic wheel arch fitted,and checking other bits too....  Inside the front wings: -All joints sealed -For plastic wheel arches,we use stainless riv-nuts instead of the self tapping screws + stainless bolts AND the fitted riv-nuts having a rubber cap sealed around inside the arches to keep the moisture out …...  |
